Popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Afolayan, aka Lola Idije, has denied
visiting a celestial church of God prophet over an alleged strange
ailment that has been tormenting her for some time now, keeping her in
bed and making her unable to move around freely. The actress according
to a source was at the Sharon parish of the white garment church in
Ikorodu, Lagos recently for spiritual cleansing from the strange
ailment. ‘She was looking untidy the day she visited and wore a simple
Iro and Buba. Her hair was undone with rashes all over her skin, which
further pointed to the fact that all was not well with her’.

The top actress fired thus: “it is my enemy that will be sick. Why would
people wish their fellow human being evil? I’m at home now resting and
my children are her with me as we speak,. So, I don’t know how they came
about the story, but it is so unfortunate. I wish to know who took the
picture you said you have with you. Anyway thanks for calling, I’m not
sick”. A well known name in the Yoruba sector of the industry, she has
been acting since early 80s and is well respected in her profession
